Afous The owner was so welcome and he's so gentle. I give the stars to him. The view was fantastic, I was seating near the window and saw the boats it was a nice view. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. We order a lot of things on the menu. I ordered chicken and rice, the chicken without any taste and the rice as well. I tried my friend's dishes as well. The meat was so yummy, the prawn was good that I will recommend it. Prices he was quite high. If I go to Afous again I'll try fish or meat and the sweets. The parking was good.
Warm and efficient service. We were given some water infused with orange blossom oil to rub our hands with to start. It smelled better the longer it stays on your hand. We loved the lamb tagine, it just melts in our mouth. We had it with couscous and what a lovely pairing. Will be back!
It was last minute decision to eat out. We can not fault the service, the food and the view. The boss & staff were very welcoming. He recommended entree prawn mango puree - different and refreshing, we ordered the lamb tajine on the menu and blue scotch was on the board.
It’s absolutely the best Moroccan experience you can ever have in Australia. The owner omar is an amazing humble and super welcoming host. Always giving us the same great level of hospitality and maintaining the quality over the years!

An absolute little gem. Welcome home! Feels like you are visiting old friends. Amazing food, divine service and a beautiful setting! Highly recommend this! Vegetarian options: The most amazing cauliflower I have ever tasted! Kid-friendliness: Lovely setting where family is valued!
Run by a lovely family who treats everyone like family, Afous is a special place where I'd recommend you let the house plan your menu. That way you'll sample the best they have to offer. We had the lovely starters and tapas with the prawns, mushrooms and Halloumi taking top marks. Calamari was a bit bland but beautifully crisp on the outside and tender as you bit into it. For mains we stuck to fish and lamb tajine pictured though our party of 6 was split 3:3 as to the winner they were both amazing. Everything is halal which is a bonus. We went on a hot and humid evening and it would have been good if the air-conditioning was on. That aside, it was a fabulous evening.
The owner here always welcomes you "home" and he sure means it. From the minute you get to top of the stairs you are treated like family that has been welcomed with open arms. The food is truly delicious and made with absolute passion and love. The service is impeccable, the restaurant is small so the staff can afford to give you all the attention you need. With great food, great service, and attention to detail when it comes to decoration and fit out it is inevitable that the atmosphere is wonderful too. Tonight was my second visit here. This time, we allowed the owner, a superb host, to feed us without really paying attention to the menu. He did not disappoint, the food was amazing with flavours that make your taste buds do a happy dance. Thank you to the Afous team for yet another fun and food filled delightful experience. I am not often a regular, I like to try new things, but I am happily a regular here.
I could give this place infinite stars and praise. Best restaurant owner ever that welcomes you with a "welcome home". The vibes are so great, the view and the food so yum. Glad I found this gem of a place and to see the passion and love of Mr Omar! Highly recommend this place being Moroccan myself that missed the great cuisine from back home for a while.
Very good Moroccan food! impressive! The overall taste is irritating salty and slightly spicy But this is a very novel experience for me. The boss and waiter are warm and friendly and feel the good service attitude
