I don't know why it ever took me so long to try it here. It's really good. I cheated and looked at the menu online ahead of time, and it sounded so delish, and didn't disappoint. It's warm and cozy inside, with nice decor and lots of tealights to give it a nice atmosphere along with the Afghani music. The waiter was quick to greet us and give us the menus, and after ordering, the food came out in good time and was all cooked the way we asked for, and the right modifications were made too. The potatoes were delicious, and thankfully someone else at the table had bread I could steal to help mop up some sauce. The chicken kebabs were beautiful and tender and full of lovely flavour. They came with bread and salad. I don't think there's anything I could fault as it was just so morish. I couldn't finish everything, therefore I didn't stuff myself with dessert, even though I wanted to, but from what we all ate, we all agreed we'd come back again for sure. Parking can be a tiny bit of a pain in the you-know-where, but otherwise, it's a restaurant that I'd definitely recommend to anyone who loves Indian and/or Nepalese food, but wants a slight change in flavour. It's very good, and can't wait to try it again.

Delicious traditional Afghan dinner including nice "mixed chef" entrée, lamb korma sholla gorbandi Afghan salad and dessert combo. Great fast friendly service. Beautifully decorated venue! Food: 5/5
Delicious food in a homely environment. The Afghan music, decor, candles and flowers create a beautiful atmosphere. We enjoyed our kormas daahl and naan served delightfully by the friendly waiter. The flavours are colourful with pleasing variety, and the traditional dough yoghurt drink added a beautiful highlight to our experience.
Such a warm, welcoming restaurant! The restaurant next door gave away our table so it was lucky the team at the Afghan Village came to the rescue. We ended up having a fabulous birthday dinner here - the mixed entrées were a highlight. Very reasonable wine list too. Highly recommend!
Great food and outstanding service! 1st time visited this cozy restaurant last night. As being plant-based we asked a lot of questions and the staff were so welcoming and patient that helped us choose the dishes they have a lot of plant- based options on the menu. After noticing it’s my birthday, they brought us a plate of free dessert with a lighted candle on it at the end of the dinner, and yes they sang the birthday song for me too :. What a beautiful experience, I was blown away by the thoughtful & caring service and the delicious food! Thank you so much guys, I really appreciate it :
It is more than ten years since I have known Afghan Village. With its cozy atmosphere, the kind manners of the owners, and its consistently good food, Afghan Village remains in my top three favourite restaurant list. If you find it challenging to make a choice of food, ask for suggestions and be ready for a delicious meal unlike any you had. And remember, the desserts are as good as the food!
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been, great atmosphere and excellent food. Highly suggest to go for the banquet. Great selections for vegetarian options as well. Service is great, prompt and friendly. Will certainly go back here again.

Chose this place for the variety of vegan options and cuisine and we were blown away by how tasty the food was and the excellent service. We had the chefs tasting plate of entrees since we couldn't decide and the eggplant korma. A beautifully decorated interior too, thank you for a lovely experience!!!
