Always fantastic fish and chips. Calamari is great also. Quality fresh fish and a good range of options too at a pretty good price. You can tell the owner puts alot of care into his food and service is second to none. Great small business to support if your in the area, give it a go!
I absolutely love this place. My family drive from North West of Brisbane just to eat here. The Seafood is always fresh and cooked perfectly the prices are affordable and the customer service is on point. What I love most about this place besides the great food and owners, Would be the warm welcome my children and I get its a great place to eat with your children especially for me as I have 2 toddlers so its very family friendly. Can't wait to go back and love your work.
The Greeks know their fish and chips and always provide good portions. This place is also reasonably priced unlike some other fish and chips joints in the neighbourhood. Always fantastic, good quality food from this place. Charlie looks after his customers.

Best fish and chips shop in Brisbane. Charlie's always up for a yarn and does a good deal. Never left hungry by this bloke. And I reckon he's putting something secret in his chicken salt - bloody spectacular. Oh and the potato scallops are the best going round too.
Fish on the Grill is honestly some of the best Fish and Chips we have ever had. We keep going back for this exact reason - that and the owner is lovely. Goes above and beyond even when he is flat out. Been repeat customers for over a year and will be for a long time. Thanks!

The one thing that had been missing for years in Highgate Hill was a great fish and chip shop. And I am very happy to say we finally have one again. The fish is amazing doesn't matter if it's grilled, battered or crumbed it's on point. The chips omg are to die for, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. So far we have tried every burger there is on offer and every single one has been perfect. You can tell the owner/cook puts alot of love and care into his food and it really shows. The price is also something to get extra exited about its really well priced for the quality and quantity you get. All in all this is hands down one of the best fish and chip shops in Brisbane. Couldn't recommend it enough!! If you are a fish and chip lover and you haven't tried it yet you need to. If I could I would give it 6 stars out of 5. The extra one being for the staff being so friendly.
