This is a fabulous hydrotherapy pool with terrific support staff who throw their doors and hearts open to children with learning needs/disabilities.nnHowever, while this is great therapy for the kids and their carers, it also means that it's virtually impossible for an adult to remain focussed on working through their own rehab program - the screaming and splashing is just too disruptive. Added to this are occasional pool classes which take up a good half of the area and are extremely loud. No chance to chill in the deeper water then!nnThe problem's also compounded by the limited access hours that an adult can work on their own program ie 6-10am. To be sure of minimal interruption you need to be in the pool and finished by 9am.nbefore the children arrive.nSo, great work guys and we're all impressed by what you do. But how about a bit more planning for adult only time?
I went there with a client, the hydrotherapy instructor was extremely rude to me exercising his power and he was also trying to convince my client I was no good. Now I don't know how he got that impression but next time I get treated like rubbish I will let him know and any staff that intervenes he should be doing his own job not intervening with rubbish gossip. I will report him if I have to, I have done nothing wrong.
Great therapy for all kinds of needs. Music can be a bit loud. This makes it hard to hear the instructor. Last night there was a baby there crying which was also distracting. Maybe they didn't like the music!
I’ve been coming to Adelaide Hydro for a few months now and I’ve had nothing but a positive experience. I’ve been doing hydrotherapy with Robyn and she’s absolutely amazing! She’s so supportive, empathetic and understanding. She’s helped me push myself but never let me exceed my limits and allows me to have so much choice in my sessions. I highly recommend Robyn. The reception staff are absolutely amazing, especially Erinne she never fails to make me smile. All the pool staff are always so smiley and friendly too. Such a great atmosphere and I’ll continue to speak highly of Adelaide Hydrotherapy. Thank you everyone!
I have visited a couple of different places after multi fracturing: hip, femur, pelvis and 2 ribs, and nothing like Adelaide Hydrotherapy to heal. I highly recommend it.nnWith new, nice, clean, comfortable, well organized and maintained installations.nYou will find the equipment necessary for every need. The temperature is perfect, in & out of the water.nAnd the most important thing their team is amazing, great professionals with much appreciated empathy, all of them. Always teaching, supporting, helping and/or encouraging every time, to motivate you, to enjoy it and to improve.nThank you, thank you, thank you Adelaide Hydrotherapy. I couldn’t have done it without you.
