Story

The Adelaide Convention Centre stages everything from national and international conferences and exhibitions to cocktail parties, major outdoor events, launches, breakfasts, banquets board meetings and more.

Adelaide Convention Centre's redevelopment program is underway, and is being delivered in two stages.

The first stage is now complete and was opened to the public in March 2015. The new building has expanded westwards over the railway lines to link with Morphett Street Bridge.

Stage Two of the redevelopment will replace the original Plenary Building (home of the first Convention Centre in Australia in 1987) with a multi-purpose, state-of-the-art facility with plenary capacity of up to 3,500 seats, and is scheduled for completion in 2017.

Professional service and well managed facilities. I have been traveling the world in my capacity as Global Conferences Manager, and I have noticed a high standard service and more importantly, a consistent service. The well naturally designed space is an impressive aspect. Safety, general hygiene and quality F&B are also consistent  Very accessible to the airport and recommended for 1000+ local and international events  I find hosting the conference social/gala side events in the same venue very practical to the organizers and the outdoor space they have is flexible enough to plan any theme

I recently had the pleasure of attending an event at the Adelaide Convention Centre, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. The Adelaide Convention Centre truly lives up to its reputation as a world-class venue for hosting conferences, exhibitions, and various other events.  First and foremost, the facilities at the Adelaide Convention Centre are outstanding. The centre boasts a modern and stylish design, with spacious halls and well-appointed rooms. The state-of-the-art technology and audiovisual equipment available throughout the venue ensure seamless presentations and engaging experiences for attendees. The seating arrangements are comfortable, offering excellent sightlines and allowing for a clear view of the stage or presentation area from every angle.  The staff at the Adelaide Convention Centre deserve special praise for their professionalism and attentiveness. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly assistance. The event organizers and support staff were always available and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the success of the event. Their expertise and efficiency in managing logistics and responding to any last-minute requests were commendable.  Another aspect that impressed me was the catering service provided by the Adelaide Convention Centre. The food was of exceptional quality, beautifully presented, and offered a diverse range of options to suit different dietary preferences. The staff in the dining areas were attentive and ensured that everyone's needs were met promptly. The seamless coordination between the event schedule and the catering service contributed to a pleasant and uninterrupted experience.  Location-wise, the Adelaide Convention Centre couldn't be better situated. It is centrally located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of major hotels, restaurants, and entertainment options. This convenience makes it easy for attendees to explore the vibrant city of Adelaide during their downtime, adding an extra dimension to their visit.  Overall, I highly recommend the Adelaide Convention Centre for any event organizer or attendee looking for a premier venue. The combination of exceptional facilities, dedicated staff, and prime location creates an atmosphere that is conducive to successful and memorable events. Whether you're attending a conference, exhibition, or gala dinner, the Adelaide Convention Centre will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.

Participated in ICEF ANZA 2022 event for 3 days at the convention centre for work purpose.  Lovely place for functions for sure with high quality facilities to offer. At night, the lights from the bridge, it was so awesome.  Love to visit here again

Attended the Gin Festival here which was fantastic. Was a great place to hold the event with easy parking, lovely view looking over the Torrens River and nice clean toilets.

Went for a conference and it was most enjoyable. We missed the parking driveway, which meant it took us another 15/20 mins to turn around and come back.

Awesome venue for a convention. Plenty of staff to redirect lost patrons, me, it's very spacious. Lots of sights to meander around between programs to stretch your legs. Easy transport availability but I walked. Catering was reasonable

Located right by the river and next to CBD, ACC is one of the better designed and functional convention centres in Australia. Very modern, with plenty of space and rooms enabling if needed to run even multiple conferences.  I have been attending conferences at ACC for many years now and it never disappoints. Fast wifi is really great plus and very helpful staff from security to those staffing various functions. Well done Adelaide!

Top notch. Must be new. State of the art everything. Friendly staff, this place must make your product or show stand out from the rest.

Incredible architecture and impressive venue. Wasn't impressed to attend an event with perhaps 3,000 people and find all the water towers empty on arrival in order to force everyone to pay for bottled water. Really necessary??

I had the incredible opportunity to attend Mufti Ishmal Menk's visit to the Adelaide Convention Centre in November 2022, and it was a truly unforgettable experience! The venue was perfect for such an event, and the energy in the room was electric. It was amazing to see so many people from different backgrounds come together to hear his teachings and share their experiences. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and it was clear that they had put a lot of effort into making the event run smoothly. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to meet Mufti Ishmal Menk in person and to have been a part of such a special event at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
