This is the place of nightmares. Coaches are fine but the waiting area is hell. I suppose it gets the job done but you need other plans if you are early for your bus. I recommend China Town around the corner- especially if you are dragging bags with you. There is nothing inside the coach station other than some lockers to hire which were all used when I went and an overpriced vending machine. The chairs are hard, cold and dirty. There is one sad looking person to check you in. It’s a depressing place and I will be avoiding at all costs in the future. Not the sort of amenities I would expect in a ‘central coach station’ in a major city.
Reception team very good, taxis nearby, vending machine and there are plenty of seats.
They have luggage storage lockers. The only storage opens on Sunday. Life saver!
Good facilities with plenty of seating available. Plenty of Tourist information on destinations with brochures. There are lockers available to hire to store your valuables in. Well presented, clean and tidy and warm in winter. There is also a Cafe with magazines, snacks and drinks available.
Decent enough bus station to start my journey off to Melbourne. Compared to the Greyhound bus stations of America, stations like these are a veritable sanctuary of effectiveness and A1 customer service. It is a clean facility with clear signage, friendly workers, and more.
Usually really good I would give this five stars but today the buss driver on 681 or 682 was really aggressively rude and inappropriate towards me, made me cry the rest of the way home.
My sister & I went to Mt.Gambier to visit my brothers who lives there. The bus who took us there was good & clean plus having seat belts installed. Very popular with the tourists. The fleet needs a new bus that takes wheelchair bound people or kids on board. I own a rollator that folds up to a decent size. It' can be a bit heavy to lift up. I suffered a stroke but sometimes I need a break from being cared for. There is not many buses that take disabled people like me on board their buses. in March of this year and s
Nice staff, easy to find information, very clean and lots of seats.
good. at central. there is locker
I have a problem walking and get to the bus station to find the cafe/kiosk has closed, did not have any notice on the website,or staeliner web site, and did not have any drink or snack machines to buy, anything, and 6hr bus journey, pretty slack on their part, as usual no thought of anybody, think everybody has money or able bodied.
