Story

APS is a performance training ground facility with four Melbourne locations. We offer classical training for the modern actor. 1 & 2yr full time courses (Auditions for 2018 now open).

APS also offers term classes for adults kids & teens of all skill & experience levels, who want to challenge and develop their craft in all facets of acting and performance.

We also offer private tuition, school holiday programs and monthly workshops with Australia’s best Casting Directors.

APS aims to provide all students with confidence and complete credibility, not just in the class room, but out in the field where is counts – onstage, on set and during auditions. Our teachers are industry professionals and will balance the training curriculum with their experience and knowledge to ensure we are one of the best training facilities in Melbourne.

I have been attending class at APS for the last 3 years and thanks to them I was fortunate enough to get a contract overseas at Euro Disney. All of the teachers are very professional and of the highest standard and have helped my career immensely. Now I am about to set off again on a 17 month contract overseas.

The teachers at Acting Performance studios are incredibly dedicated to each of their students, their own needs and ways of learning. You will learn a wide variety of different skills over the course of the year and gain great industry knowledge. I would highly recommend the one year full time course to anyone interested in pursuing their passion for acting and the arts. My experience of the course so far has been a positive one full of learning and exploration.

Acting Performance Studio is a perfect studio to grow as an artist and face challenges that will improve your confidence and expand your knowledge about the industry taught by various experienced teachers. I can proudly say i’ve been attending APS for 5 years and i continue to develop new skills and techniques. The staff and students that i’ve met while being here have been life changing, inspiring and incredibly supportive.
