Story

Ross Feather is one of North Queensland most experienced lawyers. Ross Feather has been a Principle in his own practice for more than twenty years and has lectured at James Cook University in Townsville for nearly a decade. Partnering with Bradley Wilde their partnership, Access Legal, enables both lawyers to provide clients with their vast legal knowledge and experience.

With almost 50 years of combined legal experience, Access Legal’s solicitors have successfully acted for and defended a vast array of clients in legal areas such as, litigation, property purchases and sales, traffic offences, Family Law as well as Wills and Estate Planning.

Fees with parameters
Access Legal provide experienced and professional services at rates that reflect the experience of our attorneys, some of which have more than 20 years of knowledge and previous success. We know that all clients want a successful outcome, but we also know that fees are of a concern to you. Access Legal aren’t the most expensive solicitors in Townsville, nor are we the cheapest (if you’re looking for the cheapest solicitor to do the job, we’re probably not the right firm for you). However, when it comes to fees, we know the sky is not the limit!

Our team works with all clients from the very beginning to understand their financial boundaries as well as estimate the hours of work that will be involved in each case so we can provide an accurate fee estimate. If there are circumstances around your case that may increase your fees beyond what we expect, we’ll be upfront about that too.

We aren’t generalists, we are selective
We don’t purport to handle every matter or every client and we will not take on cases that fall outside our area of expertise – even if you want us and offer to pay! Most of our clients are professionals and career-orientated individuals, young people with promising futures and good parents with families they love. We know the needs of our clients in those areas and we know the legal systems involved. We know the pitfalls and how to work around them.
