Absolutely top service - Dave sorted my engine out, lent me his own car while he was doing it, got it done faster than I expected, and much cheaper. I couldn't ask for more. I felt in very safe, honest hands, and I will go back. What could have been a nightmare – Engine trouble quite far from home – was taken care of quickly and professionally with the best service I've had in NZ so far. BTW - I understand this garage has changed hands in the past few months, so I think some of these older reviews and replies refer to the old owners. It's now Auto Maintenance (Hutt) - run by Dave Larson - but in the same location.

This is a reply to Samantha Haehae: Yes, please do not bring your car to us for repairs if you do not have money to pay for your repairs. Or if you have made a payment arrangement and you do not honor that arrangement you made. You even brought your case to another car repairer and you were told that all the works done on your vehicle as invoiced is correct and proper. You even went to MTA as you threatened. But you were told off and advised that the only remedy is for you to pay. We did not release your vehicle for lack of payment on your end - NOT because of our work efficiency and performance.

Don't get your car fixed here, they are rude, they are deceitful and they take forever. They over charge and dont do the work they promise. a reply to your comment: I am not the partner of Renae, how unprofessional is it to post personal financial details on the internet like this? that must be illegal? I made this review because i was concerned for other people wanting your services. You took 2 and a half weeks to do work on my sisters car, you charged her for brand new parts and replaced them with second hand ones, she also has rust which you covered up with paint to hide it rather then getting rid of it, all in all they had to take it to mta and have 3 different checks after you'd fixed it. You were rude, had no empathy and told her one thing about payment and the next week you'd change your mind. You obviously have communication issues and are clearly not honest to your customers, i really do hope you don't treat your other customers like that.
