This spot offers a hearty noodle bowl at a great value. I appreciated the option to mix and match meats for added variety. The roast pork delivered a satisfying crunch, though some bits of crackling were a tad chewy. Their coffee was surprisingly decent too. It's worth noting they also, have a convenient Asian grocery section inside, handy for picking up ingredients or snacks. It's a solid choice for a quick work lunch, with the added bonus of comfortable seating if you choose to dine in. Pho broth is a bit overpowered with the pho spices. Fried chicken is crunchy with skin and comes with a decent asian salad.
We popped in today as this place had a good star rating and pics looked good.nI have to say this was the worst Vietnamese roll my partner and I have ever had. And I’m not a fussy person generally so it had to be bad for me not to eat it.nThe pork is what ruined it. The cracking was inedible, couldn’t even bite through it. The layer of fat on it was so thick, not rendered at all and again inedible. I pulled the gross bits off and tried eating it but I was left with a dry roll with minimal veg.nThe fried chicken entree was delicious but we were left very hungry as we couldn’t eat the majority of our food. Super disappointing
I usually like this place but the last two meals I’ve ordered have been underwhelming. The Crackling pork had a few undercooked pieces, I didn’t eat because they looked quite pink to my eyes. And tonight the “beef” bowl only had 3 pieces of thinly sliced beef. That’s a bit skimpy….otherwise good flavours and good service.
Thoughtful food, best pho in Adelaide, according to a few of my mates. Vegeterian options are plenty, and it's half a small mart and keno betting hall, weird combo, I know, but it's perfect. Get a noodle dish, some scratchys, and peruse the mart.
atmosphere of the area was really nice, trendy music and comfortable seating. however, the food was too salty and tasted strongly of MSG. my friend got a bahn mi and found hair in her roll and it most definitely was not hers. very mid if not bad vietnamese restaurant.
