The food was excellent, the Beef Massaman was amazing, soft tender meat and potatoes in a flavourful curry was a delightful start to my evening. Even the coconut rice was flawless and fully flavoured. My wife had the Pad Thai and also thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were professional and attentive as well, overall we had a great experience here.
We came here in a group of 10, had a great time. Food was awesome. Service was so fast. Prices were okay. If I had to complain it'd be about the parking :. I had the red curry duck 72 it was by far the best duck I've eaten ever. We also had lamb, yellow chicken curry and rolls etc. Everything was perfect. Staff were prompt and knew what they were doing. Slight mix up with my order at the beginning and it was handled promptly and professionally. If I could give 6 stars I would.
I really enjoy this place, I get the Cashew Nut Noodles rice noodles with extra cashew nut sauce and woowww, the Cashew Nut Fried Rice is also amazing! Every person I have recommended this place to has loved the food. The shop does get busy especially on weekends so you may have to wait for 10-20 minutes to be seated. The prices are reasonable and me the portions are very filling!
Having always seen this place busy and often people lining up outside I was keen to try for myself. We ordered duck pancake and mixed entree for starters and pad kee mao and massman curry for mains. We were surprised to get the mains first and when I questioned the waitress she said the food comes out in the order they are cooked. The massaman curry was ok and the pad kee mao was mild. No hint of heat whatsoever. The entrees were night. Price wise there is cheaper and imo better thai food in the area and for that reason I wouldn’t rush to return.

Abode is a nice Thai restaurant in Brighton-Le-Sands near beach. It got very busy for early dinner time. We had super pad thai and crispy noodles with gravy sauce. Pad thai was nice but crispy noodles with gravy was delicious and super crunchy. Quantity was filling but a little over priced for example pad thai was $20.
Service was very disappointing. Food was good no doubt. But after having the food me, my wife and my 2 years little one we all had food poisoning. We all were sick for 3 days. The situation was really bad as we don't have any relatives living in Sydney there was no one to take care of my little one cause me and my wife were really sick. It was the horrible time I have ever spent in my life. I called the restaurant and looked for the manager. the staff said he is only available on Friday. I requested her to pass my phone number so that whenever the manager is available he can contact me. But the staff did not pass that message. After waited one week I called them back again and found the manager. He was even more rude to me. He did not feel sorry. He did not even care, he suggested me to go to the fair trading, tribunal or nsw health department. As he has everything ready to hide whatever the dodgy things they are doing inside the kitchen. After seeing his arrogance, I asked for refund. He just said "No way" and hanged up the call on my face. He did not even offer me like a free food or any discount on my next visit. So like there is no respect for the customers. He does not care the customers are going back or not. I will try my best to do whatever I could. Because I do not want anyone else get sick after having these foods. But seeking attention to the owner that your restaurant is in a very good location, and food is nice too. But you need a better manager and you need your staff maintaining the hygiene, specially washing their hands always. You might a so many customers lined up outside but it doesn't mean you are going to give zero respect to the customers cause don't forget you business runs because we customers go there and spend our money. So the service should full fill our expectations as well. Whatever you manager did was completely ridiculous. I AM NOT GOING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT FOR SURE, IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME FOOD POISONING AND THE WORST BEHAVIOUR THEN ABODE THAI IN BRITON LE SANDS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Outstanding Thai have been visiting for years. Quality of the produce. Passionate service and authentic food is now matched with an amazing new atmosphere in their new location in Brighton Le Sands. It’s a local hotspot for great Thai food and I can vouch that its actually better than the food in Thailand! Pricing is fair and large servicing sizes. All food made to order & fresh.
Hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in Sydney. Time & time again the taste, quality and freshness if the food never disappoints. They don’t take bookings, but you don’t have to wait too long if you go for an early dinner, or order online and pick-up.
Abode Thai new location is fantastic! It’s moved about 50 metres down the road in what was the old commonwealth bank building. The new space is really roomy with a modern industrial look. The food as always is great. One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. The Thai green curry, the pad Thai and chicken with cashews are all winners. Pretty much anything on the menu is really solid. Glad to have a local Thai restaurant this good
