Had a fantastic stay at Abode backpackers Mooloolaba. To be honest I had no idea what to expect as I’m an older woman on my own. I instantly felt very comfortable with the friendly staff and vibe of the place. My room was clean and nice with aircon and a ensuite with the best shower ever. Cost friendly compared to the rest of Mooloolaba. Stayed for 4 nights and slept soundly with no noise. Highly recommend staying at Abode
Loved staying here! The room was really clean, same with the bathrooms. The staff were all super kind and welcoming.nWe arrived exhausted from our flight and, because our room was already ready, they let us check in early — after a whole year of travelling, that had honestly never happened to us before and we appreciated it so much.nWould definitely stay here again!
Stayed one night. Hallways do echo a bit and can be heard in the rooms. Could get noisy in the morning or night with door closing and people walking, we didn't experience this as much as expected. Paid $150 for a stay in mid July. I do wish there was a trashcan in the room, there is a communal trash bin by the tea and coffee area.nParked on a side street as they don't have a lot of onsite parking. Good atmosphere.nThe queen bed has wheels with no wheel lock, however they do provide 2 pillows per person which is quite rare given that it is a hostel.
This was an absolute 10/10 ! Saab went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He introduced us to everyone and even walked us to our room to get us settled. After a very long travel day and a bit of unexpected plans when we arrived at our hostel to find out we had been upgraded to a private ensuite I nearly shed a tear. The activities were nice, the staff were great and the hostel was calm and clean. I hope to come back and will definitely recommend this to any one visiting Sunshine Coast
75 dollars a night for that kind of place? I don't think so... dirty common spaces, the super small and messy kitchen, the bathrooms out of maintenance, the rooms smell like death, they do little daily cleaning. I rented two nights and they made me change all my things because one night I was in one room and the other night in another, that is, zero organisation. The owner was friendly, his employees quite lacking in communication, especially a reception boy, who told me that I had to be grateful to have a place to sleep when I colled about having to move all my things to a third floor by stairs and without offering help
