So pleased to be present at the launch of 'Glorious Glass:stained glass in the Abbey Museum collection'. Superb achievement by Michael Strong. Supported by the Gordon Darling Foundation and the Abbey Museum's Friends and Turnstone Archaeology.
Nice little museum with lots of interesting artefacts. The small abbey also had some lovely stained glass windows and you get a tour of it. Staff were lovely.
There is a lot out here to see and it's definitely worth checking out
Shared a lovely Victorian High Tea, complete with carolling and tours of the Museum and Abbey Church. Very interesting and worthwhile.
I enjoy the rich history that the museum offers, from paleolithic times to Elizabethan. It's fascinating to see how civilization has developed.
really interesting and cool reads about history, and its got a nice vibe.
Love the Abby Museum. So much to see.
Very nice and informative museum. Not huge, but packs a lot of stuff into a small space. The special activities days are always fun and good value, and the Mediaeval Tournament is a must, everyone should go at least once.
Great museum with lovely staff. Kids can be part of an archeological dig.
