Abberfield Nursing Home

Did a tour with Ray on Saturday morning. He was cordial, informative and highly professional. I’ve decided this is the residence for my mother. I’d contacted numerous other aged care facilities, none of which were prepared to take me for a tour on the weekend. Highly recommend Abberfield Aged Care.

My Dad and I were so grateful when Dad found this place for Mum. We'd had a less than ideal experience with a previous operator and were looking for a place that would handle Mum with care and treat her with dignity in a clean, nurturing setting. We found that in spades at Abberfield. Raymond, Alexandra, the front office staff and Mum's nurses were emotionally intelligent and genuine in their care for Mum. We cannot thank them enough.

I had the pleasure of taking a tour of Abberfield Aged Care with Raymond, and the experience was simply outstanding. The facilities and care provided to the residents are beyond exceptional. From the moment I entered the facility, I was welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. My family member has been residing at Abberfield for a couple of weeks, and I can confidently say that their care has been exceptional. The staff have been incredibly attentive, providing personalised care and taking the time to understand their needs and preferences. The facility is immaculately clean, well-maintained, and designed to cater to the unique needs of seniors, making it easy for them to move around and participate in activities. What impressed me most about Abberfield Aged Care was the attentiveness and support I received from Ray. He is dedicated to the well-being of the residents, and he goes to great lengths to ensure their comfort and happiness. The systems he has developed for the facility are outstanding, and it is clear that the team is committed to delivering the best possible care to their residents. Overall, I cannot recommend Abberfield Aged Care highly enough. Specifically, If you are considering an aged care facility for your loved ones, I suggest taking a tour and meeting with Raymond to learn more about their exceptional services.

Really appreciated the tour that Ray provided the other week. He was very informative with my MANY questions. It’s not the easiest decision to make and he actually made me feel more at ease. I Really appreciated it. Thank you Ray.

Recently did a tour with Ray. He made the effort of seeing me on a Sunday at 8am which was incredible. Very informative and caring approach and filled me with confidence about aged care. Highly recommended.

My mum and I have had to find care for a close relative and we were quite stressed during the process, we were so lucky to have had Raymond from Abberfield take such good care of us and our loved one, I couldn’t recommend Abberfield highly enough.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband who has unfortunately just passed over. Words can’t express how wonderful this place is. He was only there for a few months, but the care and attention he received was the best we could have hoped for. The nursing staff were so kind and compassionate to him and to us his family. The physiotherapists were amazing and the food was excellent compared to a recent hospital stay. Thank you so much to you all.

Removed my mother after facility deteriorated. Food not suitable. Numerous occasions with Medication errors. Wrong medication handed out near misses Prescriptions overloaded pharmacy Disturbing Very Long delay with response from nurses after resident used call button. Not enough activities Roaming residents during night.
