We went to this place only to experience sweet curries instead of Indian taste and aroma.The flavour was nice but instead of salt, they added sugar and to cover their mistake, they said that it’s the taste they have been serving to the locality. Really bad experience
We waited for so long and bread came kind of raw curries some of them were too sweet or tasted not good, but we ate them all cuz we were hungry. It was bad experience for me . And also super pricey compare to what u get watery!!! There is Thai restaurant close by go there u won’t regret !!!
Sorry to say we have eaten at this restaurant many times but the food was so full of sugar the last time it was completely inedible and the prices have gone up and quality gone. Really disappointed

I have been going to the Aangan Currie House for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal although some have been better than others with changes management.I had not been for six months until a few weeks ago and found the curries delicious especially the Beef Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala.
Worst takeaway in Newport. We stopped going there a few years ago because of the rubbish meal and thought time to give another try but super disappointed again. Butter chicken like water with hardly any chicken. Better to buy a Coles made butter chicken.
