Spare parts are quickly dispatched, usually taking 2-3 days when the alternative is 6 weeks from Thailand. In comparison a bolt shipped overseas would be ¢50 and a bolt from here would be $3.50, so costs do mount up but it's a difference between paying for speed or for economy. In terms of servicing and bike maintenance they're quite through and only had one incident where they've missed something internal on a rwc. They've been on top of things when it comes down to regular maintenance and genuinely able to recall and diagnose past problems. I personally haven't bought a bike here, but in terms of customer service these guys are top notch. They're courteous and professional so you do get what you pay for.

I bought hyosung gtr250(2006) from them. While buying they promised me with higher resale value, as i was new to Australia I was not aware that hyosung wasn't a cost worthy motorbike and it costed me 3k. After two months I approached them to take back my motorcycle for 1.5k at least and i asked them to trade in my motorcycle for any new vehicle but they refused to do so saying that they were not interested in hyosung. I got frustated and went to Peter and steven where the guy who checked my motorcycle said the tyres were old and it cannot pass rwc without working on it which could cost me 1.5k, hearing this I found that I was heavily cheated by these people. Now the motorcycle started giving ennumber of trouble. Being a newbie I was literally cheated by A1.

Avoid avoid avoid. Took my shiver 750 in for a RWC. Bike was in near new condition. Was told I would need to get new handle bars as mine were 'bent'. When asked how the bars were measure to be bent the reply was smugly you can see it. (Bars were not bent) wanted 500 for new bars. And was told I'd need new brake pads for the rwc. Instantly had the dodgy feeling about the entire place, staff appeared to have zero integrity. I paid for the check and staff gave me incorrect change $10 short and when informed just gave the money without checking as though they'd just been caught. Again dodgy. Overall a horrible experience, as though they were simply trying to bleed money out me. Took the bike from there down the road (won't say where to ensure this genuine) and bike was received within an hour. No mention of bars being bent. And when asked how the pads were, was told they still have more than 50%. Do not go to this place.

Excellent sales staff at A1. Called and asked to test the Tuono 1100 - no dramas. Geoff and John both had a very good understanding of the bike specifications and let me take the bike for a proper test ride, and gave me directions to get to some roads which would highlight the bikes handling. I was thoroughly impressed with their sales approach. They were professional, weren't pushy, know the products they're selling and work for the customer. Although I wasn't quite sold on the bike that I tested, John asked me to come in and try some of the others to see if they are what I'm after.

Paid for and was told i was getting a pilot road 5 front tyre fitted, got home to find they had fitted a much older and outdated pilot road 2. dodgy as hell.
