We almost cancelled the rest of our trip so we could stay longer! It was more like staying with friends in their home and they where the perfect hosts. They shared wine, stories, cake and fascinating insights into life in Alice Springs. THANK YOU MARGARET & ALF. This was the perfect start to time in AS.
We stayed 4 nights and Margaret & Alf made us feel at home . They were perfect hosts that go beyond the level of service . They provide a terrific breakfast to each individual tastes and requirements they do beyond to please.nThey also shared their nice bottles of red wines with us and fed us and other guests pizzas .nAlf is a great story teller and has great yarns of his wonderful experiences with the First Nation People.nWe had a unforgettable trip to Alice and the hosts are informative of all the attractions .nDo not miss this special Hospitality - it is genuine and in short supply .nWell done Margaret & Alf
The host at A Good Rest, Margaret and Alf, are welcoming, accommodating and kind. The breakfasts included in the tariff are top notch. The well appointed rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. The location is quiet and within walking distance of the Telegraph Station, town and the end of the Larapinta Trail. I had an absolutely wonderful week in Alice Springs staying at A Good Rest. Margaret and Alf will mind your dog for no extra charge and treat it like they do their own.
Just by chance came across the accommodation after all hotels were booked out for the night. Stayed 1 night with my best-friend Tara and so glad we did stay here! The bedrooms were stylish, clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. Margret the owner was very lovely as well as her cute dogs! I would definitely recommend staying here! Great prices for a great stay :
Fabulous Hosts - Margaret and Alf were so kind! Lovely comfy bed and delicious breakfasts. Saying Goodbye after our 3 nights stay at the end of July was like leaving good friends!
