Finally, a place where the food lives up to its reviews. The menu is quite simple, you choose your meat either fish, prawns and one more I can't recall and 1 or 2 sides. You can choose the type of fish you want and the cooking method, grilled or cider battered. We had one grilled and one cider battered. Not much taste to the grilled one, the battered one was good, flaky fish and an even crunch all over. I enjoyed my smashed peas very very much. The seasoning made it so tasty I have never mentioned this about peas in my life. Onion rings were alright. They give a nice portion size of everything though. Fills up the plates so you feel like you're getting your money's worth. The ice cream is a definite must-try. Rich flavour, very creamy, unique combinations and cute shapes of the popsicle. I had the choc with popping candy. Wonderful last meal to our trip here in Perth. Highly recommended!
Very good value for money, crayfish and calimari was decent, Morton bay bug was disappointing, but scallops were good and mussels excellent. Sides were well sized and tasty as well. Will definitely return.
impressive seafood platter and interesting menu options lots of salads, pho + fish and chips!?. nice place, will be back to try some other things
Honestly, I was a tiny bit disappointed. My partner and I went with some out of state friends about 5 months ago, and it was delicious. Fresh, melt-in-your-mouth fish, great chips, delicious onions rings, and perfect pea salad. Absolutely 5/5 stars then. Having gone in the last week, though: The fish wasn't super fresh and had a very thick batter. The chips were okay, not bad. Onions rings kind of bland. The pea salad was still great, so definitely points there! Overall, not a bad fish and chip place, but based on this last week's experience, I wouldn't make a point of going to this particular one...unless it was just an off-night.
I love the fish and chips here! The chips are nice, golden brown on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside. As for the fish, although deep fried, it isn't excessively greasy. Highly recommend. If you like your wine, you might want to try the red wine icecream! Oh and the staff are the best!
The gluten free battered fish and chips are heaven. In fact I've never had a bad meal here. Being celiac, it's wonderful to eat somewhere where 95% of the menu is gluten free and excellent. Edit - a recent visit was very disappointing. The food was nowhere near normal standards. It looks like it's changed ownership.
One of the Best Fish & Chips / Seafood Restaurants in town. Love it every time, every meal is great. I trust them to make me perfectly cooked meals too - which is an absolute must for anyone preparing seafood. Also tried the tasty made-on-site desserts - does not disappoint! Also accepts bookings via Facebook Messenger! That's nice/different. Check it out if you love Seafood / Fish & Chips!
Great battered Hoki and chips, excellent beer list, awesome salads and the onion rings as a side for the chips is excellent. Inside feels really nice and you get great service, however still feels like a local fish and chip place. Since finding this joint we don't get fish and chips from anywhere else. Thoroughly recommend.
Finding amazing restaurants like this in Perth is what I love most about this city. Ive always liked fish and chips but this seafood restaurant takes things to a whole new level. I cant believe the fish batter is gluten free, tastes great and the hand cut chips that I had were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, delicious. To top off my meal the tartare sauce and the extra aioli I ordered are all home made, and that's hard to find these days.Great location, great service and amazing food at a very good price.
Very good service! A bit pricey for fish & chips! $28.00 for a plate of fish & chips, not even a leaf of lettuce! Too many chips & piece of fish too big! Looking at the reviews we expecting a lot better...maybe we should have chosen a $40.00 dish....next time if there is a next time we will share a plate!!!
