The new night staff member is the worst. We used to regularly have coffee at night on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the previous guy was excellent—always made great coffee. They've now replaced him, and the new person is honestly terrible. The coffee quality has dropped significantly compared to before.
Useless was going to work needed petrol, decided to use the card payment machine attached to it, paid 15 bucks but machine only put through 1 dollar, then I asked the cashier what was going on with the machine, he said not my problem I can't fix it, didn't even put a not working sign on it. So someone else has to go through the bollox I had to go through. Now late for work. Either go to bp or pak n save for petrol. At least they can fix it or put signs up saying it's not working.
Second time I have received trouble service at the Z in Silverdale and thought I would give it another go but all I can say is “Absolutely pathetic”, don’t the over head cameras alert the attendant if your number plate is suspect?I don’t even get treated like this in less affluent areas.nHow am I supposed to know the amount when filling up with a card?nI would like the convenience of being able to pull up, fill up, pay and leave. You lost me to BP Orewa , at least they greet and offer good customer service without treating you like a criminal.I will tell all those I know not to use this station.
Good place with decent coffee and service — just swarming with angry, smelly tradies in the morning. Enter at your own risk before 8 AM.
Well sited service station on the main road in Silverdale, easiest to access when travelling West towards the motorway good range of food and drink inc coffee, rest rooms , Gas bottle swap facility, interior of the shop has recently been renovated July 2022 , fuel on site at pump is 91, 95 and diesel . Pay at pump option is available. Station can be extremely busy at rush hour or during the weekends.
