I've now driven on the other side of the road and survived. Before returning the rental car, I stopped here to top it off with gas. I was able to use my voucher for 6 cents off per liter that's about USD0.14 cents per gallon which added up nicely.nnI was surprised to see that it is pump first, which seems unusual but I guess they trust people more here in NZ than we do back in the states.nnThe pump worked fine, the dude inside was happy to have a conversation about which side of the road is the correct one, and I was on my way.
Very poor service, wasn’t allowed entry because the attendant had just mopped, yet he expected to handle the food I wanted to purchase, where’s his h&s protocol?
I’ve been a regular customer at Z Picton for years, and I’ve generally found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Unfortunately, one particular employee consistently creates a negative experience. On my most recent visit, she was curt, impatient, and dismissive, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and upset. This is not the level of service I’ve come to expect from Z, especially when the rest of the team are so pleasant. I’m disappointed to find myself reconsidering where I fill up, simply to avoid dealing with her attitude. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because when things are good here, they’re really good.nUpdate:nManagement have contacted me after I submitted my review to them directly, and they seem genuinely willing to address the issue. I dropped by again, and the experience was lovely; however, I still find myself checking who’s on duty, and I often opt to fill up in Blenheim instead. It’s just not worth risking the ill feeling; life is too short.
Rude arrogant and abusive staff .brings shame to a national brand . Maybe train your staff and screen out the nutters before you hire
