To Whom this Concerns I wish to make a formal complaint over extremely poor service received from your station located at 52 Strowan Road, Christchurch. The service station is adjacent to 38 Strowan Road, when I looked the service station up, I was advised that it is 52 Strowan Road, despite neighbouring properties being in the 30s. I stopped in as I needed cash. I purchased $10 in petrol, waited in line and asked to pay for the petrol and for $15 cashback. I needed $35 and had already gained $20 from the cash machine in the service station. I was charged a $2.50 fee for this. I got $20 because I did not want to ask the cashier for too much money. I thought Z could actually accommodate customers, I am disappointed to learn that you cant!. The person who served me was female, Indian or Asian. This took place on Tuesday 4 January between 6:45 and 7:15pm, I did not note the time but this took place between those times. I was told that "I cannot give you cash as its the holidays". If I had have known this in advance, I would not have shopped there. I definitely will not be going back. As I was leaving I noticed the person laughing at me as I left. She saw me go to the cash machine twice...Im sure she found that amusing! I thought Z staff had more class than this quite frankly! I am very disappointed as this person could have helped, she just chose not to. I paid for the petrol begrudgingly! and went back to the cash machine to get another $20 and incur a further $2.50 charge because of a Z staff member choosing to be unhelpful. I am a regular at Z and have never had a bad experience. The unhelpfulness of this employee makes me reluctant to shop there again, I am now inclined to just drive past and look out for a Caltex, BP, Mobil, Gull, NPD, in fact anyone other than Z! In my experience the crew here are some of the best in the South Island - although not the cheapest the stop here is clean, today and the staff here quick to get through long lines of customers something some of the other Z stations could do much better on.
Friday night around 6.30pm , the staff member who worked there was very rude.
Lovely ladies who usually work in the mornings with the before work rush went above and beyond the call of duty. Unbeknown to me my daughter had dropped a soft toy and left it there a good 3-4 weeks ago. This morning Wednesday was the first time I had been in since last year- they recognised me and gave me back the missing toy-and kindly gave us some marshmallows to share! It was a great start to the day! Thanks

Helpful staff but unfortunately no car wash on site. Place is clean and tidy.
To the power tripping attendant who thought it was appropriate to tell me I needed to get off my phone while I called the parent of the sick and vomiting 5 year old in my car: there is **no** study that concludes a station will blow up from talking on a cell. You and the man you were talking to acted like *I* was the stupid one, picked the wrong time to make your smart, ill informed comments, and have a dated understanding of electronics. Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but a woman was elected Prime Minister, the Rugby World Cup was held in NZ, and the US elected a terrible reality film star to run America. Just wanted to keep you in the loop since the 2000s have yet to arrive on your door step. Hope this loads OK on your dial up computer.
They have amazing service and have really nice food if your on a road trip and need a quick something to eat.
