This is a great communally focussed gym. Good prices, nice equipment and knowledgeable friendly staff. 10/10 best gym in Lower/Upper Hutt.

Extremely helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms and equipment.
Good location with flexible hours, 7 days and plenty of different classes available. Regular email updates and contact. Friendly helpful staff and a good range of equipment.
Only been member for a week but welcomed. Shown my exercises with trainer who went through each step and explained clearly reason for doing such. Well organised. They monitor your progress and are willing to point out your faults but give praise and support when needed. I feel welcome when there.

i legit lost my drink bottle there and went in like 3 months later and they had it waiting for me and i was stoked ahhh best place
Wow Welcoming , helpful and friendly staff . Great facilities , fitness classes , exercise equipment . Fantastic for your families health , fitness and wellbeing. What a tremendous Gym at The YMCA Upper Hutt.
Great basketball court for all sorts of sports. Sword fencing in my case. Very helpful staff.
