YES Disability Resource Centre (YES) is the hub of information and resources for people with a disability living in North and West Auckland.
The YES Disability Resource Centre (YES) is a non-profit organisation working to ensure people with disabilities are represented in governance, planning and staffing. It offers community-based resources people need to build themselves meaningful lives. Our members include disabled people, older people, their family / whanau, support people and health professionals. Yes models the New Zealand Disability Schedule.
It is a central access point for information, support and innovation for people living with a disability and their families in the Waitemata region. Each year YES receives over 30,000 enquiries from people needing specialised information, services and support.
YES currently offers a number of programmes to support the inclusion of disabled people in the wider community.
