My personal Yacht Charter experience was in the Greek Islands.

I was part of the team based on Poros in the Saronic Gulf. We had a fleet of 11 yachts that mostly went out bareboat - if they wanted a skipper, they got me. The company also encouraged me to sail whenever practical to increase my local knowledge and feel fpr the yachts.

I cruised the Saronic - our winter haul out was on Aegina - and the eastern Pelopenesian islands - Hydra, Spetses, and the Western and central Cyclades. I was also on deliveries from Ios to Poros, and Cephalonia to Poros - through the Corinth Canal about 1am, Choice.

I also made one delivery voyage from Rhodes Town to Lindos at a later stage, glorified day sail, took the job on the quay in Rhodes Town and didn't realise Lindos was on the same Island until I got below and found the Nav. station..
