Xcape Wellington

Have done many many escape rooms, across America and New Zealand, and Xcape has some amazing rooms!! In my opinion one of the best I played in NZ. My groups favorite was Crown Jewel, it flowed so nicely together and had such unique puzzles to it. Definitely recommend for anyone who is first starting or long time player:

I've done 4 escape rooms at Xcape Wellington and each was as exciting, exhilarating and challenging as the next! The rooms are designed and decorated so fantastically that you feel utterly immersed into the story line you've chosen. The puzzles required to move on to the next step are well planned out and exceptionally brilliant! I've done several escape rooms around the north island, but none compare to Xcape wellington. I can't wait to come back again and escape another heart racing room. Also a big shout out to the lovely brunette girl at the front desk sorry I didn't get your name you are absolutely lovely, bubbly, friendly and made the experience even more delightful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity.

We had such a great time at Xcape Wellington for our end of year work do! Such a great venue, super friendly & professional staff and the escape rooms themselves were awesome. Communication around the booking was amazing and they were super flexible when we had to postpone for another date. Will definitely be back! Thanks Xcape :

Best escape room we have ever done!! Excellent set up! Really felt like we were in a tomb uncovering secrets and eventual treasure. Amazing experience not to be missed!!! Will definitely go back and try out the other rooms!

Such an awesome experience! We completed the Lost Tomb of Monthu and it was brilliant, challenging, interesting, and just overall a fun experience! Staff were super nice and friendly and we would definitely go back!

Wow. Amazing staff, brilliant horror rooms we did the Caretaker and then Asylum straight after. Rooms are fully immersive and challenging, theres only 2 of us. Plenty of arguing and swearing, just like it should be . Fantastic time had here. Cannot recommend enough. From Lucy & Iain, the team at Escape Room Portable. Thank you!

Service was above and beyond. We had our 12 year olds birthday party and the staff went above and beyond to help and make it a great experience. The Lost Tomb of Monthu was great for the age - they worked out the clues and we all had a great time. Highly recommend!

Great fun was had by my group of 12 & 13 year olds. The atmosphere within the tomb had the right balance of suspense and thrill. Definitely will be back to try the other rooms

Such a good experience. The puzzles were really good fun to solve and the rooms are super engaging. 10/10 would recommend.

Did the Mutiny with 3 adults and 4 kids. Great fun. Puzzle were really engaging. Relatively linear so you’re all working together on each puzzle which worked well with the kids, but probably wouldn’t want more than 4 adults.
