Very rude interaction with the Indian store manager didn’t catch the name. He refused to accept my NZ govt issued ID to purchase a single bottle of wine -- ID I have used elsewhere in NZ. He and his colleague were extremely aggressive and I ended up leaving the entire order because I don't want to give this place my business. Too bad, as the store was otherwise spacious and the cashier had been nice.
Awesome staff all very friendly. Especially checkout and self checkout. Store always immaculate and produce, meat and bakery always fresh.
Lovely helpful staff on floor going above and beyond for locating items. Easy free parking. Super clean and well stocked.
I travel to this Woolworths purely for the deli - the workers are always friendly and the sandwiches are well made and very tasty. Thanks to the staff that have put a lot of effort into the fresh food options.
Found a Christmas pudding gift box by itself on the shelf. Thought I go and check the price at the self check out. Scanned it and left. Then lady with white short hair yelled at me “do you want this or not”. I said I’m just checking the price. Then that got her going and calling me an idiot!? Her action took me by surprise. 99.99% of the time people will just say that’s all good. She even called her supervisor to evade me from the store… Guess she is not happy working on the day before Christmas Eve.
