I had the most amazing experience shopping here. Not only was it an extremely cold night which makes you wanna stay at home in bed, but sometimes chores need to be done. Woolworths was the most perfect temperature. Warmed me up straight away. Everything in this store is always so so so organised and it makes my shopping so much easier. Not only that but the lovely staff. I don’t remember many of their names but there’s two that always stick out to me. Annie and Natalya. They both always have the most amazing smiles on their face that lights up the whole store. Always super helpful not only with me but what I’ve see with other customers. Woolworth waikane will never dissapoint. Shout out to those two checkout girlies!
I don't usually go to that shop, but I was parked right there and only had two small things to buy. It ended up taking me 15 minutes to find them. Then, when I got to the checkout, as usual, the app for my membership card wasn't working. But this time I was determined to make it work. Unfortunately, there was no one to help me at the self-checkout. I waited for more than 5 minutes, even sat down at the self-checkout, hoping someone would come and help me. Then I left without the items and went to New World, where everything went smoothly, as always.
Worst supermarket I’ve been to. Terrible layout, constantly out of stock, and staff seem completely uninterested. Some staff are outright rude , especially Cat. You’re honestly better off going to New World. Overall a really poor experience and easily the worst in the country.
Shot in for some meat. Good selection. Reasonable price too. Chated to a few oldies from the golf club and was on my way.
Another small town Countdown in direct competition to a solid New World across the road. This Countdown has stiff competition in Waikanae but shines through with its excellent bakery and service. Highly recommended
