Two Fridays in a row the pickup lockers seemed to be closed off. We changed our shopping day to Thurs. Yesterday were booked for 4pm locker pickup. 5.15 had heard nothing. Checked emails and groc had been packed. Rang and got told to pick up from lockers. Lady didnt seem to understand you need a text with a code! Husband went instore to pick up and lady ahead seemed to have same issue. He got same lady he spoke to on phone. Was a frustrating conversation but he was polite as he again tried to explain no text, no code for locker. She tried to tell him they havent sent out texts for weeks. His reply was thats odd because we got two last week. Groc hadnt made a locker. Finally home with groceries 2 hours later than expected. I dont blame the lady. I blame the coy for lack of training of a person on front counter and phone. Might be time to change where we shop. If there is a problem like staff sickness or shortages, at least be honest about it.
I live rurally and shop here a few times a year. The place is so consistently dirty that I conclude no pride is taken in the store which makes me question its Food Control Plan values, which is a pity for the community its in. Raise your game. You don't have to be new, but a clean supermarket is a must.
Place was very clean. Shelves stocked well. Friendly service. In an earlier post of another store I stated the groceries were a little higher. Well my wife told me that the groceries here are about 25 percent higher with some items being very expensive. She normally does the shopping.
Went in alone and found a friend of mine as I walked in, I went to purchase beer and she carried dog biscuits over for me as I couldn’t carry it all. I then went to scan the beers when a rude worker asked if we both had id. I then tried to explain that she wasn’t with me and she then told me that its policy and that I can’t get the beers so I listened and agreed when she turned and looked at me before I had even scanned my dog biscuits when she said “You can leave now!” in a very blunt and rude tone. Not a good experience
