Staff at the Matamata store are very unfriendly,racist,rude,unknowledgeable.nThe store never has any on sale item's or on sale stock available in store as per the Mata mata Countdown online web site.nThe store still has the OLD COUNTDOWN LAYOUT,which is not very ergonomic.nThis store needs to be demolished & rebuild as a Woolsworths store.
Cool little supermarket I can still get bargains, I love the fresh veges and fruit, and the meat selection. Something for everyone there go check them out. Car park is little but it's still worth going and looking. The staff are nice and friendly to.
A roomy interior offering a good variety of fresh produce and meats. Wide aisles through dry goods. Cheerful staff.
Always stocked but would be nice if they stocked their brand of chocolate ice cream and also the 2litre bottles of mountain dew.
