Story

Welcome to Woodys.

Our venue is located at 33 Ardmore Street, and we are a Sports Bar.
Positioned on the main street of our beautiful town the venue could not be more central and easily accessible.
The entire area has a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day, with a trio of free-to-play pool tables until 7PM every night, the venue becomes an easy-going social hub where you can hone your pool skills over a frosty draught beer, or watch a selection of live Sky TV sports from around the globe.
Come night-time the bar becomes alive, locals pour in and the bar is buzzing with life. Sports still play from the 5 screens dotted around the bar, the foozball table hosts tournaments and the bartenders engage in banter across the bar.
You’ll notice the wine list has been hand selected from the generous bounty of top quality choices available to us in the Central Otago region, and is influenced heavily by local vineyards.
Let our friendly and knowledgeable staff ensure that you have a relaxed and fun evening, you’ll interact with locals and share some very interesting stories!
