Story

Woodlands Estate is a treasured historic homestead and public garden estate situated in the Waikato, only 15 minutes from Hamilton City.

Being the oldest Waikato icon, Woodlands peaceful setting is ideal for conferences and meetings and is one of the Waikato Region's most popular wedding venues.

This unique location offers the perfect setting for a range of functions or enjoy a casual visit and tour of the historic homestead and gardens - including a multi-media presentation of the estate's history.

A wonderful old homestead, a part of Hamilton City's history, set in park like grounds, and gardens. It is an amazing venue for a special occasion. The autumn colours were truly magnificent.
We had our wedding reception here on 21/04/2018. The gardens are amazing and the function room looked magical. We’ve visited Woodlands throughout the year and the place looks great across all seasons.
Hidden gem, great place for lunch, like you've been invited to a country house of royalty, but they've just stepped out. Huge cricket ground, with supplies for a sunny afternoon.

Found this place has deteriorated and is in need of a good revamp. Dull lighting needs replacing.
