There is no better place in Canterbury to get your bakery fix other than my main man Serey's pies here at Woodend Bakery dont forget to check out his other locations yes it maybe a Lil bit expensive but its dam worth the quality in his food. I use to travel up from Invercargill just to get my fix glad ive moved local again
What a great selection of pies! A friend had recommended stopping by, given the bakery's positive reputation and her personal experience. I had a steak, mushroom, and cheese pie. Was delicious. The pies seem to be a little larger than other pies I've had. I did think the pie was worth the $8.50 I paid!
Got a steak and cheese pie and a custard doughnut. Best cheese I've ever had in a pie. Meat and gravy were good. Friendly staff threw in an extra doughnut. Great location and early hours for those trips out of town.
I’d say one of the worst experiences. A friend of mine said once had a sausage and it was raw so he had to vomit. And today we got a cookie which tasted so bad, god knows how long that’s been sitting there. Be on and egg pie I’d say 5/10 quiche pie 6/10. Dough pie soggy and not crispy, overall not worth to come back
Needed to cater for 12 for an all day meeting and asked Woodend Bakery if they could help. Booked the food on Friday and arrived 8am Saturday to collect.nEasy to deal with, great selection of tasty food and very reasonably priced. Can highly recommend.
