Thank you to Tanja and the team for looking after our boy Magic on his mini vacay at Woodbury Kennels. I loved the update pics on fb during his stay. I’m so glad to have found a place I can trust to leave our pup!
Our high energy cockerspaniel had the best long weekend at Woodbury kennels. He came home tired and calm by his standards and smelt amazing! So happy to have found a place that suits him and his needs. Website and customer service was 10/10. Will definitely be back.
Awesome place. I'd definitely recommend. Our dog loved her long stay. Books out quickly so we can't always leave Bella with them, but if we had the option Woodbury would be number 1 always.
Woodbury Kennels is an wonderful place to leave your dog when you are heading off on holiday, or needing boarding for your dog. Our boy was very well looked after, with all the comforts of home along with the added outdoor fun times hanging out with the other doggos. I can definately recommend these kennels if you are looking for peace of mind that your dog is in good safe hands. The whole process from woa to go was easy and stress free. Loved the FB posts of our boy having a great holiday too! Icing on the cake was picking up a happy clean sweet smelling boy. Our 9m old puppy loved her stay. Acres and acres of running around and playing with other smaller dogs. Also stunning views. Loved seeing the daily updates on FB. She came home happy as can be! Quality Blackhawk food provided too. Very reassuring to have a great local kennel who cares about our pup. Thank you! We will book again!!
I had my Gordon Setter stay with Tanja and the team over the summer period - he loved it! They were awesome to deal with and have great facilities for him to enjoy. I don't think he wanted to come home!
One word... Brilliant! Woodbury Kennels is approx. 45min from Central Auckland and set on a 16 acre property that reminds me of a resort setting. The dogs are divided into large and small to ensure sanity and safety is kept and are housed in their own accomodation. The beds look super comfy and the are fed twice a day with Black Hawk dog food. Whilst we are on holiday, we love receiving Facebook updates - photos of our boy with the other guests... it give us extra assurance he is enjoying his break as much as we are enjoying ours. Through out the day they are able to play with the other dogs of their size in their large grounds. On pickup, whilst I cannot comment for all dogs, ours gets washed, all ready for his reunion back home with the family. Summary: Woodbury Kennels is a place you can leave your fur baby to have a holiday of their own whilst you kick back and relax on your holiday in knowing your babies will be well and truly taken care of and have the best time of their lives without breaking your bank account. I have no hesitation in recommending Woodbury and I personally will continue to book Wilson in for his holiday. 5 Stars!
Most recently, we had two dogs stay at Woodbury Kennels for 4 nights. The indoor kennel area has been immaculate every time we have visited, with heaps of outdoor space for the dogs to play and relax too. The team take great care of the animals entrusted to them - they take the time to understand each animal's individual needs and look after them as if they were their own dogs! Go check them out!
Tanja and the team really looked after our border collie Fox so well. They have amazing facilities in a rural setting with wide open spaces for the dogs to run. I would def recommend them for your dog.
If you're looking for a place for happy dogs, then this is it! A few days of exploring paddocks, swimming in creeks, and playing with the family and other dogs, and my lab cross with attachment issues is sorted. Tanja and her family do not just run a business. They're very passionate about the dogs and their wellbeing. Just look at their Facebook page to see the fun they have!
