Great place to create your own pottery and connect with other people. I loved the format and the atmosphere of the class: open and welcoming to all. Thank you for making this a fun experience! The only thing is that I wouldn't say it's for complete beginners. I was too ambitious with my first creation as it turned out later and felt like I wasn't given enough guidance/support during the class, so my piece turned out to be a completely different shape which is fine, of course, but also it cracked during the firing. This happens and perhaps should have been expected, just a bit disheartening when you want to get a nice piece to keep after 2 sessions one making the piece + one painting/glazing. You can't please all, but I'd prefer more guidance rather than being left free to try on my own, as a beginner.

Stayed at the AirBnB associated with this studio, which included classes. First, the hostess/ceramics studio owner is amazing. She has an amazing calming energy. She was able to provide opportunities for people to create and was able to provide guidance to students, individually. I brought home several pieces of my thrown & hand built work, taking me back to delightful memories. If you tale a class, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive space. My only sorrow is that it’s on the other side of the world.
