Sally was absolutely fabulous. Extremely helpful when I had asked about potentially getting fish for a small pond with little knowledge of how that may work in real life!nShe was amazing. She explained everything to the students and I and It showed us what she was describing which made it so much easier to understand.nShe said if we even need to ask any questions or want the water from our pond tested or anything like that just a phone her up or pop in and she'll be able to help us out.nCustomer service there outshone anywhere I've been for a long time.nGreat service with knowledge, a genuine caring attitude and smile
Popped in today to find new owners been a while since I visited have taken over. Family run affair and they're busy improving things. Had a great chat with staff, friendly, helpful and chatty. Great bunch of people and stoked that they're now doing live fish shipping. They went to great lengths to explain how they have improved conditions, water etc for the fish and, therefore, have quality stock. Look forward to going back and thanks for the mountain minnows and tadpoles.
Always have Great service every time I go in!nAlso wanted to mention I brought a female budgie a few years back and she’s already had a clutch of 4 successful eggs she’s doing great.nAlso wanting to stop in on Sunday and grab a water Lily and a lotus plant and will hopefully review those as well
I love the shop and the variety in stock.nThis is our go to fish shopping stop!nThere is just one thing that erks me. There is this older lady there, that immediately tells the kids off if they tap a glass. I don't have time to explain to my kid why not to do that, and by the way, he's 3! So it bothers me if you speak to my baby like that. It was such a light tap, that didn't warrant that response. And kids do that at that age. They need this exposure to learn not to... but to sternly be told off by a grumpy adult. I don't like that one bit. Then don't make it a family place.nBut love the other staff, love the variety, and the owner is a lovely guy!nWe go there almost weekly, so I want my kids to feel comfortable there. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
