Came here for dinner. Booking seems necessary as when we arrived and it was a full house packed with diners. Dishes we ordered are tasty and of really big portion. Tried the Tom Yum noodle soup and the Shrimp Noodle Soup. Both are nice. Good service as well. Would love to try some dried dishes next time.Recommended dishesTom Yum Noodle Soup, Prawn Noodle Soup
Incredible place. Authentic through and through. Great genuine service - amazing food. Like just simply fantastic. Rate this place an 12/10. So good we have eaten here multiple times on a 1 week holiday to Chch.
A unique traditional meal of street food. Is worth the visit if you craving for asian foods or just a big meal. The portion are generous and the the interior are plaster with Penang street are wallpaper. It is self service and cash only. Closed on Monday. Open during lunch and dinner, shop closed in between.
First time trying at this resturant, they were so busy! Everything was great, big portions and reasonable prices for each of them. Definitely will go back again
Not up to our expectation. Char kuey tiao was more of a stir fry with bbq pork. If you want char kuey tiao in Christchurch, I would recommend Adam's Malaysian Noodles instead. Fish ball kuey tiao was ok. Children enjoyed the fried fish balls. Ning yong was ok but not exceedingly wowed by it. Parents previously dropped by and tried their wanton mee and curry laksa. Wanton mee was good but curry laksa was very powdery. Mixed feelings about this meal.
They had run out of a few thing when we ordered and since this was the first time trying this place for food, we thought wow this place must be good. It took a while to get our order and when we got it, it was flavorless and watery. I had to add salt and pepper to add simple seasoning. Sorry, but thus was not a favoriteFood: 2/5
Very incredible food here. Authentic Malaysian style and makes me feel like home every time I have it. The service is great. Keep up the good work.Food: 5/5
We've been there often and satisfied with yummy food but this time they served with raw meat in the noodle dish. I told them the meat still pink and obviously uncooked yet. The waitress looked at it and said it is cooked then turned around to talk with chef in Cantonese. Unfortunately i heard what they said the meat is raw. So I'm pretty disappointed they are not honest. Also i won't recommend to go there again.
Ordered Kung Pao Chicken which is no taste, I believe the chef didn't put any salt in my food and I couldn't eat it anyway.
Food was great! NZ card or cash only. Unfortunately we didn’t notice this until after our meal when we went to pay. Staff was very understanding and let us run to an ATM to get cash. Good experience overall.
