I popped in just to have a little bite since this place was recommended to me. They had four types of fish available on that day, I got the butterfish with fries. The fish was beautifully crumbed and the texture was just perfect. The fries were piping hot but I just couldn't resist stuffing my mouth. Overall, I will definitely be coming back for more.
First time here and just got hot dog and chips. Both perfect.
This is a very clean and orderly takeaway store. It has no atmosphere because it's purely takeaway. The service was excellent. Helpful and not pushy. The fish, snapper, was delicious as was the light crunchy batter around it. We asked for a half portion of chips and we were surprised how generous it was. So glad we didn't get a whole serving as it would have been wasted. It is very good value. Buy here. It's cooked to order.
We had travelled from Wellington, had just gotten off the car ferry and were looking for dinner options in Blenheim. Great service from the girl at the front. The chips were awesome and the fish was beautifully cooked and battered. Highly recommended.
