Went there last Sunday morning for a Breakfast before going to the Museum. Staff was very friendly and quick. Food was delicious, also Gluten-free options available. Prices are reasonable and not too much compared to other places. The outdoor area offers a nice view over the duckpond. Worth a visit.Recommended dishesEnglish Breakfast
Went here for a high tea for my birthday with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was for the price. Not only was the food great, but the service was too. The staff member taking care of us was so attentive, and made sure to come back every so often as guests arrived at different times. They also explained what the different food items were as well. The room we were seated in was lovely and there was a fireplace going so there was a nice atmosphere. I will definitely be back again.
Cozy cafe in the middle of the park! Perfect for outside seating, with friendly staff and good prices. Meals both made to order and a good range of baked goods. Good long black and cappuccino, or hot chocolate and ice cream if that’s more your style. Would recommend!
What a fantastic environment for brunch. Surrounded by the beautiful gardens of the Auckland Domain it would have been easy for them to rest on their laurels but the food and coffee were of high quality. Staff were friendly yet professional. Definitely a lovely experience after a long morning at the museum.Recommended dishesEggs Benedict
It was a windy day but still nice to be outside for lunch with the seating area having some wind barriers. Food was excellent and staff was friendly. It's a great place to take a break while spending the day in the Domain.Food: 5/5
Thank you to owner's and Karen and staffs for a fabulous night with the families and friends at Charlene 21st . The venue and fingers food. And Karen putting up with us for things that we wanted it thank you for your patients .. I will Recommend this place to friend's and family.. love it..
Amazing view! Surrounded with a lake and garden the Wintergarden cafe is a perfect choice for those who needs a peaceful atmosphere. Great coffee too!
Stopped for brunch here this morning. We both ordered the crumpets; mine was the gourmet crumpets sweet and his was the salmon and avocado crumpets savory. Both were beautiful on the plate but the yum factor was all lost and the flavours just didn't work for me. Nice setting, quiet and enjoyable. p.s. Our cutlery were brought to the table and not sitting in a pot for everyone to touch. Big for this Cafe.

Nice spot hidden away in the domain. Adjacent to a pond and the winter gardens, so there’s a nice amount of wildlife enjoying the area. Food was not too bad, nothing amazing and I thought it was quite pricey. Coffee was nice but not amazing. Staff were pleasant but they seldom entered the dining area unless they were delivering food.
