Beautiful! We have just finished installing our 8x8 Glasshouse from Winter Gardenz. As an Architect I am hugely impressed by the quality of this kit, how great it looks, and how long it will last. This is definitely a 5 Star product which has had some considerable thought put into it. The 8x8 size is perfect for a growing rack wall plus 2-4 chairs to enjoy some refreshments while admiring your plants. We bought the toughened glass model and purchased an extra vent louvre kit and shelving - all of which we are very happy with. Highly recommended.
When It comes to choosing a product your never sure until it arrives, nicely on time, as we were in a rush the Winter Gardenz house showed up, It looked great, there were a few things to sort out, the Winter Gardenz team pitched in and all was sorted, which was in fact typical during the construction as we did have questions, we chose the glass panes.... I'm sure the polycarb would have been easier, but we're glad we went that way as we really do have a Crystal Palace :, The result is spectacular! I can thoroughly recommend the glass house and the support Winter Gardenz gives to their customers.
Our Glasshouse was purchased from Winter Gardenz in July this year 2022 as part of a complete overhaul of my vege garden area...complete with my very own 'She' shed, potting shed, shade shed and raised planter beds. We purchased a 10 x 8 so that I should have enough room for my future experiments. We put it together from the kitset ourselves, I'm not going to say this was the easiest kit set we have ever put together...probably due to its size and the fact we were dealing with glass. However, we took our time over a weekend and had a few coffee breaks and we are still married! The instructions were amazingly clear and very easy to follow. We chose to put our glasshouse on a wooden frame which we anchored to the ground with a few large wooden posts. So I have a dirt floor. We are really pleased with the final product... It is sturdy and doesn't move in the wind plus looks amazing. Recently, I purchased some more T bolts, so I could attach some bird netting over the front doors... I like to keep the doors open during the day to aid in ventilation but the birds were becoming a problem and making a mess inside. I also used the T bolts to attach strings to the roof to tie my young tomatoes up. I would highly recommend these glasshouses, they are great quality and the service from Winter Gardenz has been amazing.
After searching the web during lockdown I settled on a Winter Gardenz greenhouse for our sunny site in Omaha so that we can have fresh greens and tomatoes year round. After emailing for more information, I purchased a 6 x 8 Poly unit. These days we buy a lot online, sight unseen, and rarely is the delivery and final product and service result better than expected. This is one of these rare situations. The Greenhouse arrived as described after receiving updates from the people at Winter Gardenz. The components are a level of quality that far exceeded my expectation. The assembly manual is written in perfect easy to understand English and detailed enough for any man to follow. I didn’t need to consult my wife once during assembly. The parts were supplied as per the manual and fitted perfectly. Again on the quality, all nuts and bolts are stainless, all components alloy other than plastic end caps and rubber beading. I purchased two extra roof vents and auto openers. Awesome devices opening and closing perfectly automatically by temperature alone. Well done to the team at Winder Gardenz Kumeu. I don’t normally write reviews – this is a very good product matched by great personal service.
From our initial enquiries through to the greenhouse purchase and installation, and then the answering of our noob questions, the service from WinterGardenz has been top notch. We are really happy with the quality of our greenhouse and look forward to getting use out of it for many years to come.
Really pleased with our new glasshouse. Easy delivery through a local agent and everything was in the kit ready to be put together. Easy to construct with clear instructions. We added optional extras with a shade cloth and auto-openers and pleased we did as they’ve made growing through summer in Canterbury easy. Looking forward to growing heaps in our glasshouse through the seasons and years ahead!
Graham enjoyed the challenge of assembling our new Winter Gardenz Glasshouse and the project went smoothly – now we are busy propagating flower and vegetable plants for the garden, friends and family and eagerly awaiting tomato, capsicum, egg plant, lettuce, basil, rocket and cucumber plants to begin producing. When deciding which greenhouse to buy I quickly rejected the Chinese option from Trade Tested with the two year warranty, and priced up building my own from timber. However I couldn't build one for less than the price of buying one from Wintergardenz. Plus, it came with a 15 year warranty, which my home design definitely didn't - and mine was only single glazed. How pleased I was that I bought the one I did from Wintergardenz. I have now owned it for several months and can confidently say it is the best thing that I have ever bought other than the wedding ring of course. Starting with the instructions, which are the clearest and most helpful that I have ever come across. Just take your time - I rushed it and had to remove a gutter that I had put in wrongly - and you will be delighted with the end result. There has clearly been a lot of thought put into the design and build. It easily fits together, using for the most part, the same T bolts that are easy to adjust, should you need to. I initially did not purchase shelves, thinking that I would have to drill holes in the wall. I was wrong. The shelves fit onto the T bolts that slide into the frame. They are infinitely adjustable and quick and easy to install. If you are buying one, definitely get the automatic windows as well. They are brilliant. You don't have to worry about your tender plants cooking in the sun or freezing in the cold, because you didn't have the time to open or close the windows. When it gets warm, the windows open. When it cools down the windows close. It's fantastic. I went for 10 days to New Plymouth, when I came back all was well. This was partly down to my good wife, but also partly due to the rain and the automatic windows. There is a connection at the end of each gutter. I connected a pipe from the gutter into the greenhouse and when it rains the plants get watered. I used the greenhouse initially mainly for growing seedlings to put into the garden. This is the first year that every bit of my quarter acre has been full of plants. Finally, the staff at Wintergardenz are just wonderful. It seems like nothing is too much trouble. I have never owned a greenhouse before and was not sure about a number of things. They have been incredibly helpful and come across as really good people. John Rothery Maungatapu, Tauranga
I highly recommend Wintergardenz greenhouses. They are NZ manufactured out of superior materials and easy to erect. They can be fully accessorised with benches, louvres, shade etc I have always found Wintergardenz team to be highly professional and friendly. Customising my greenhouse was not a problem when I wanted to swap out shadehouse roof panels for polycarbonate
Very happy with our 10x12. Extremely sturdy. Great service from Wintergardenz. They were always available to answer questions and communicated well.
