Story

Winchendon Photographic Venue is available for you as a beautiful and private setting for your photo shoot. Perfect for wedding or engagement photos, or perhaps you are getting the family together for some portraits. We offer a beautiful garden setting, with views overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

We have a collection of classic cars that can be used as props around the garden. You can find us located just past Waldronville on the way to Brighton, although please enquire first before coming out. Please phone Jane on 027 4343559.



"Nether Winchendon House is a fabulous venue for wonderful photographs and a truly romantic Wedding Reception with three unique Marquee Lawn Locations as well as our utterly charming Carriage Barn to choose from. We are able to host smaller as well as very large celebrations. Your Wedding Day here will be unique to you, where you and your guests can experience a day that you will never forget. The Carriage Barn is perfect for up to 85 dining guests with a total of up to 120 guests during the evening. If you would rather have your Wedding Reception in a Marquee, we have three unique locations, within the gardens, to choose from – The Walled Garden, The East Lawn or The South Lawn."

My husband and I held our wedding reception in the Carriage Barn and it was the perfect venue for us. We had a small, intimate and cozy wedding and the staff at Nether Winchendon were wonderful in helping to arrange all of our vendors. We loved having the ability to personalise the Carriage Barn into exactly what we wanted and were given access to decorate and set up two days prior to the wedding. With so many different ceremony/reception options to choose from on the Nether Winchendon Estate, you will not be disappointed for your next event!
We were so lucky to have found Nether Winchendon House for our wedding in June 2022. We only heard about it because my friends sister got married there but as soon as we saw it on our first visit we fell in love! We wanted a venue that felt like home and allowed us to host the wedding we wanted, not somewhere that came with a whole host of rules, regulations and restrictions. We were helped by Isabel with an advised list of suppliers but we didn't have to use any of them and we weren't charged corkage for bringing our own alcohol. It really just seemed like anything was possible. Our guests can't stop talking about the venue and all the aspects of the day which came together so seamlessly. This would not have been possible without Georgianna and Isabel. Things were getting pretty stressful on the Monday/Tuesday before the wedding but as soon as we came to Nether Winchendon and visited the church, watched the marquee getting put up and walking through the gardens we were immediately filled with excitement and felt much more relaxed. It is a rare gem to find a venue which allows all of this.
Stunning venue. Set in a beautiful location a little hidden gem in the Buckinghamshire countryside.
We were absolutely delighted with Nether Winchendon House as our wedding venue. All our guests commented on the stunning architecture and the beautiful grounds, and were the most beautiful back drop to our wedding photographs. Giorgianna and Isabel were lovely hosts to work with, especially when dealing with the logistics of planning the wedding from Germany.
I shot a wedding a at the lovely Nether Winchendon House around in around the Summer of 2015. The grounds looked immaculate. The building was stunning and full of character. This place was one of the most stunning settings I have been to for a wedding reception. The food was outstanding. Congratulations to the Chef and his team. Highly recommend it.

Lovely location to hold weddings etc. Delivered here for a wedding fair. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.
Luckily enough to be invited to a wedding at this wonderful venue. Gorgeous village and church too!
The fete here each June is the best I have ever been to. Really recommend it.
