Popped in after reading the earlier comments and noticing that there were some good and bad and there was mention of new ownership too. Lovely venue and super friendly & happy crew with great food available. Café was full, as was the parking lot, which is a clear indication that it's the place to go in the area.
Sorry not impressed To be honest coffee is excellent. Stuffed potato tasteless, only small sliver of leek found in stuffing. Bacon and egg pie very thin and could do with more taste. Seating outside has got a lovely view over golf course. Tables and chairs need some TLC as wobbly. Staff could be more welcoming.
We just went to your cafe. Interior and view is lovely. However the first Lady behind the counter was angry. We were waiting for her to greet us....that didn't happen, as we were still deciding whether we should stay, she then stormed away, and said call when you're ready. The second lady was friendly enough, but the coffee that followed was below standard, the foam looked so airy, there was no barista skill at all. I walked out of there so disappointed, we won't return.
Great little small town cafe stop with elevated views of the golf course. Super fresh sandwiches, along with other hot and cold ready food with additional / tempting menu items. Prompt table food service, helpful, friendly staff.
Delicious pies and really enjoy their berry muffins with pink frosting on top :D Beautiful golf course views from window seats in cafe. Recommended, if you’re passing through! Great lunch break.
Excellent range of very tasty food with very pleasant service. We would eat here again for sure.
You are going to fail, your food is over priced and rubbish, certainly not value for money. Your staff are below average, ordered iced frappe's and delivered to our table with berry residue all over the bottom. You need to go and look at a cafe like Black and White, Rolleston and observe the food quality, value for money pricing and the amazing staff. You have an amazing setting, excellent drive for so many people, car clubs and so on, but your cafe is a big let down.
Got there for it's second day of business. Great counter food and top pies. Got the pork belly one. Needed to be hotter and let them know that. Good coffee. Great addition to the golf club. I'm a visitor to the region but this one is on the 'must visit whenever I am back' category
Cafe is not the same. They have changed hands. It's a cafe not a bakery. They hardly make any thing mostly all brought in so these are old photos & don't expect it to look the same. Over priced $ & the staff are more interested in their phones than serving customers , very noticeable on weekends !
Pork belly pies are beautiful and found the staff here doing a great job top service
