The team at Wilderness were so wonderful and helped us make our adventures magical. They shared their personal experiences and gave awesome suggestions for all the secret little things to explore. The vehicle was amazing allowing us to freedom cap 3 nights in a row. We had all the luxuries in the van so we were warm, comfortable and able to move freely. Highly recommend this to anyone…which we did on our travels and will be booking them again for our next visit. Thank you Ms K in Christchurch for being awesome! M n M Brissie crew.
Wilderness made our trip perfect. We originally booked in 2019 and covid had other plans for us. Wilderness allowed us to keep our booking and made it stress free to book later on four years later. The moterhome was the best way to discover New Zealand. Easy to drive, clean and had all the supplies you need. The staff were wonderful and dropped us back to the airport with plenty of time. Thanks wilderness. Hopefully we will be back in the near future.
Wilderness Motorhomes is THE BEST!!!! From the moment we walked into the Christchurch Wilderness Motorhomes office, we were overwhelmed with the amazing service. Brigid was so welcoming and helpful. We were offered coffee and a ton of helpful advice about where to go and what to do. I thought that I knew what our itinerary was, but Brigid opened my mind up to so many wonderful places that I wasn't planning on. She spent so much time advising us on our itinerary and then, when she showed us our lovely motorhome, she was so clear and explained things so well. When we headed out on the road, thanks to Brigid, I felt so happy and confident that we were going to have an amazing vacation and we ABSOLUTELY DID! Thank you so much Wilderness Motorhomes. We will be back! Aloha!
Working with the Wilderness team was a breeze. Their customer service was fantastic prior to arriving and during our hire period. The collection and drop off process was simple and fast. But most importantly we loved our motorhome. We hired The Suite for two adults and a toddler and it was perfect. Plenty of storage and great layout to enjoy sitting in various locations in the vehicle to make the most of our destinations. It was really comfortable and very easy to drive and our toddler loved his car seat and the visibility he had to see the road ahead. We definitely recommend Wilderness and we can't wait to hire from them again for another adventure.
Rented the suite motorhome for our 17 days road trip in South Island. The interior is spacious and the furnishings are of good quality. Felt safe driving and resting in the motorhome, having gone through different road conditions and weathers including gusty winds and heavy rainfall during the road trip. It is a nice and cozy home!
What an adventure!! The moments and places Wilderness Motorhome allows you to experience is not to missed. After being welcomed and picked up by the amazing team in Christchurch, my partner and I enjoyed an unforgettable 12 days inside our motorhome around the south island. The home offered unrivalled comfort, all the necessities you need to cook and explore, and even among some challenging weather we were lovely and warm with the gas heating. The ample storage was also a bonus, as we had surfboards on board, and they fit perfectly in the back storage space. Couldn't recommend Wilderness Motorhomes enough!
Really glad that we've chosen Wilderness motorhome for our NZ trip for 15 days, Fiat Carado T449 was spacious and nice to drive, most important was their service, got to said top notch especially by Lorena, she gave us good advised when is the best time to visit NZ etc, definitely will engaged them for my next visit. Cozy, Practical, Everything works well, Nice and Friendly Owner and Staffs. This was our second time, surely next trip we will take this cozy home with us again. We really had a perfect holiday with Wilderness.
I would like to give a big thanks to the team. I wouldn’t not have so much fun if without this little “ home” for our 11 days road trip. They have everything you need but you will need to get your own dishwashing detergent, not a big deal for us bcz most of the day we stayed in holiday park. But please try freedom camping with wilderness! That night was so cold like around 3-5 degrees? But the heating system works well and easy to use. Unfortunately during the end of the trip, the front mirror was hit by a stone, luckily we bought the VIP insurance, it covered us with 0 payment. Highly recommend to upgrade the insurance. And the teams are so friendly and welcoming us, they will explain to us clearly and gv us a call to check on us how are we doing, this is our first New Zealand trip, definitely will book wilderness again for our future trip! Cheers!
Highly recommend Wilderness Motorhomes. The vehicle options are great with thoughtful layouts and amenities. Our two weeks in NZ went off without a hitch thanks to Wilderness.
