Food was pretty decent but couldn't find a price on anything, including their menus. Gives the impression of a tourist trap, which is often frequented by the tourist busses which pass through the area. Would like to see items clearly priced, which I also believe is a requirement by law.
Not a good experience. Visited on 18th January, Ordered a BLT which came on fancy bread that wasn’t toasted so wasn’t pleasant to eat and hard to cut and had 2 pieces of steaky bacon so you were basically eating bread. Got an ice coffee which didn’t have any coffee in it what soever and an iced chocolate both of which were warm not the slightest bit cold had to ask for ice to put in our drinks and asked if there was any coffee in my drink nothing fixed not a great place. No prices on anything and was told owner doesn’t want to show prices hmmm ok
Only been there once and will probably never go back. Worst steak and cheese pie $5.50 can buy. A decent pastry but it was filled with gravy and fat with no meat at all? Lol.
Very disappointed in the Paua pie lucky if you got any more creamy sauce than anything. Ordered hot chips very salty couldn’t eat. The service poor it not hard to greet and say I’ll be with you in a minute.
Worst pie I've had in a while, salty gelatinous, little to no mince, little to no cheese, the custard square was pretty good but because my pie was so bad 1 star rating , staff were not very polite either didn't say hi.

Great staff I found the chicken and cranberry croissant to be dry and flavorless. Iced coffee with caramel was good not bakerman great but still drinkable
Very friendly staff and the food taste so yummy. Plus the hangi on Fridays is an extra happiness in your life hehe . Working in a hospitality in the past I know how stressful it can be , but those ladies are always smiling and friendly. Well done :-
Worst coffee I had for a very very long time. My long black had no creamer on top - hint that's the best part of the coffee!! It looked and tasted like filter coffee!! Another hint - if you do not get a creamer on your coffee it is because your coffee comes out too quickly. You must adjust your grinder to the coffee comes out slower and hey presto you get the creamer on top. Will never go there again!!
Excellent food and service. Good range of kiwi food
