Went to Whitcoulls Lambton Quay this eve, I’d found out about the passing of a friend and was feeling awful. Ellie I think, red hair served me at the counter upstairs and was soooo kind. She had no idea the day I’d had, but made me giggle, gave exceptional service and I left with a little smile on my face. Protect her at all costs
Love this place. The staff is so friendly and the store has everything a stationary should have. Love the sales and promotions when it's possible to buy books with only $2.50. Love the chocolates, the cafe, the cute mugs and backpacks.
Two floors of Whitcoulls I love this store. So much selection of so many beautiful things, books, stationery, gifts, etc. We were approached by a lovely, friendly helpful staff member to make sure we were alright. Loved it
I visit frequently as I work close by. Great location if you're already in the city - no point in trying to find parking because... Wellington. The floor staff - especially upstairs - are really nice and helpful. Some cashiers looked really stressed and a bit miserable especially leading up to Christmas - not sure what their management is like. They have most things there and therefore better than the smaller one in Cuba if you want to browse.
A huge selection of books, games and all many of tasty treats at the Cafe. It's my go to lunchtime pasttime.
Like a million books are selling here in this place! Stationery and board games are a lot. Walking in here could take two hours! Plus, staff are active amd friendly. Been here oftentimes.

Hi I would like to share my experience of shopping at your lambton Quay store today Friday 31st March. Staff member Doug . Thank you for your kindness today . Not only did your staff member go out of his way to help me, he was attentive and didn't rush me. He was just happy to help. He searched online for products that I was interested in and just made me feel like the most important person in the store. I have cancer so was feeling a little low but after my interaction with him I felt really special . I just want to sing his praises because he made my day . I spoke directly to one of the managers about your staff member and i was asked to place some feedback as well. If there is an award for customer service that is given to Whitcoulls staff by your company, please consider Doug for the award. Thank you so much Doug nga mihi nui Wai Taylor
My first time at this store, so cool. Loved the kids book collection, Legos
A great place and the cafe was brilliant, made perfect coffee, wonderful tea and lovely custard slices, Whitcoulls had a great selection of everything and we went home with a fine selection of stationery and magazines today.
