Story

Like most businesses, Whimsical began as a small thought which turned into a big idea. It all began with three little cherubs who as they grew older began to have their own desires, their own thoughts on what was 'cool', what was 'pretty', what was 'amazing' and what they absolutely HAD to have! Being a mum, I would never want to crush their feelings and promise that I'd get them what they wanted (within reason of course!) but then as I looked online and in stores, I found that the things they wanted weren't available. So what did I do? I promised them I'd make it for them!

The word Whimsical brings up various connotations in my mind with the foremost being giving reality to your dreams, your desires and your wants. Some little people would argue that this is their needs (Bless them!) So, with this in mind, Whimsical became what you see today - a small business started on the whimsy of my three little cherubs .... I hope you can find something here for your little ones who are ever searching for that pretty little fairy skirt, that supercool dinosaur vest, or whatever it is that takes their fancy.

Whimsical is also into taking requests or custom orders so if you have an idea or a request from your little one that you can't fulfill feel free to contact me and I'll see what I/we can do :) Another option available is if your little one has a special type of fabric (or blanket) that they absolutely love and they are happy to give some of this away, I can make one of my designs with this fabric (if it is suitable of course).
