Lovely place to have brunch/lunch but service is VERY SLOW. I came here today, Sunday, and there were only 2 people working at the cafe; with many many people waiting in a queue. It took us 30 min to order, over 40 min to get the food which was not good at all, specially the chicken sandwich. Absolutely ridiculous. I would suggest asking at least 1 more person to work on a Sunday… See photos, we waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive and it was not even hot or had a salad next to it. We didn’t get the chips that are supposed to come with the quiche and yes, I made a comment to the staff on the day. Worst experience ever. Do not recommend this place.
After a nice walk around Mt Eden, it’s nice to stop for a donut and a flat white on the weekends. This spot is just perfect and you still feel like your on the walk in some sense. Food was on point service was quick. Sterling Arnet Kakapo Business Sales
I lost my wallet on Saturday, 8-4-23, had no idea where it was until one of the girls here Keira, at the cafe found me on FB thru my driving licence, luckily my FB post has my mug shot on it, so today I popped in and picked it up. I really appreciated the service and the honesty, refreshes my faith in people. Thanks for that. I had a really nice coffee and something to eat while it was raining, looking out at the view then left. FYI, there are keys and umbrella's here as well in case you might have lost something nearby. Kid-friendliness: No more so or less than any cafe I suppose. Parking: Can park right outside, has a nice view there too.
Great cafe to have a break and have something to eat after walking all the way up to Mt Eden. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice cafe with bush setting surrounding…best barista here made cinnamon on flat white coffee as requested… enjoying the late lunch and discovering the local volcano museum on site as well but only open certain days of the week
An clam and peaceful place tucked opposite to the Public Toilets. View is amazing and the food and coffee is awesome. The ice cream is great. Staff is very polite and respectful. Good place to come after a walk up to the summit. Indoor and outdoor seating available at the venue.
Bad service. Was offered sour cream and chilli source on a baked potato. It didn’t arrive. I asked about it. And was then told by the manager that baked potato doesn’t come with it…. Even though they said it did. Went from a 4 stars to 2. Customer service is free and makes so much difference.
Nice place with tasty food for affordable prices.. i like their hot chocolate drink .Food: 4/5
Great coffee, and the cabinet food is tasty. However, they are seriously understaffed. They forgot one of our food items, and when they did bring it out, it was the wrong thing. I will just get coffee next time.Food: 4/5
Loved the space and interior. Great black and cold brew coffee.Table service was great. Not many cabinet food options, menu looked refreshing but they missed and took some wrong orders. I would come back for the view, coffee and ice cream. Parking space available.
