Loved the staff and interior with cozy atmosphere. Cafe is a Great brunch spot and good for meetings.nnBut, I ordered a hot chocolate which was just warm at the time they served me, then got cold within a minute. It was tasty but I couldn’t enjoy it due to not enough hotness.
My last semester at Massey University in 2025 was beautiful Wharerata was introduced to me by my lecturer and we would have our discussions as a class over here as we were only 3 students. Lovely hot chocolate and pastries Beautiful gardens, cozy spaces and warm service
Highly recommend Wharerata to anyone as a wedding venue.nThe venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, the homestead is beautiful and doesn't need anything extra to be a jaw-dropping place to get married.nnI cannot rave enough about Frances and the staff. Frances had great communication from the beginning, and settled our nerves early on about a lot of things we were worried about. We knew early on that she would have things covered!nnFrom planning, and setting up absolutely everything, coordinating the staff and all the food, to packing everything up and sorting the clearing, it was great.nnWe could not have asked for anything more from the venue, Frances, or the staff, they made one of the most important days of our lives a stress-free one that we could enjoy to the fullest!nnTHANK YOU!
We got married up there and it was absolutely beautiful.Frances and Glen were amazing and very friendly and helpful.If we had any questions they responded very quickly.Would highly recommend if you were to get married up there.
Set in a lovely location.nI just called in for coffee and cake, they had a good selection.nI will back again to check the food out.
