I spent a week here in August in a motel studio unit. I found it very relaxing set in a suburb, backing onto a bush area that leads down to the river.nnThere can be traffic noise from a nearby road but I only noticed it during the day.nnFairly old units but roomy, clean and comfortable. Heated towel rail in the bathroom, and hooks for clothes. Great shower pressure.nnGood wifi. Very helpful and friendly staff.
We were on holiday when my partner needed to be hospitalized. He was transferred to Whangarei hospital from Kaitaia for treatment. Once discharged we stayed at this brilliant Top 10 holiday park. It was clean and tidy and well layed out and the amenities were close. He needed to rest and we appreciated our quiet spot. We loved the picnic table next to our motorhome which we used on the sunnyy days. Our three dogs were also welcomed. We had a brilliant park for our motorhome. It was next to the disability bathroom which I needed. This bathroom was the best I have come across on our travels. Sandra, thank you for making us feel welcome, we will be back for sure.
I recently stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed it. The facilities are very clean including the bathroom. The showers are nice and spacious, there is a communal kitchen to use and laundry which was great for me to do my washing. I did not book in advance but rather booked one night at a time as each day went, the staff were super accommodating and able to find vacancy for me each night in the same cabin. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a family cabin and it was nice and spacious, clean, had a fan for when it was very hot. I went for a walk down near the river and it was very Beautiful and close by. I would definitely stay here again and recommend staying here if you are in Whangarei.
Very impressed with this Top 10. We made an impromptu stop overnight and our booking was easily sorted, we got an awesome little spot at the back of the Park.nThe showers and toilets were clean and well presented. The laundry facilities were great.nWe will definitely be back again!
We stayed for 2 short nights, wish it could have been more. From first impressions the owners/managers and staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, and they only got better. Amenities spotless, showers hot and loads of pressure, as was the laundry and Camp kitchen with alfresco area... Great undercover BBQ area, luckily right behind out spot. Our 2 youngest, boys had a ball playing with the free scooters, balls and stuff. High light was a tractor drive that came and stayed the night. Thank you for a great stay, Aussies, Vic & Nat.
