I have been taking my special needs son to this library for many years on sundays. Last sunday and a few times prior we have had the security person following us around 'because we are Maori' I spoke of this last sunday, to the manager at the time. These security people who most are maori themselves treat their own with disrespect I am 76 yrs and my partner 77. We have had enough of their trying to be subtle and following us around. This is not the first time either, this happened in the racist Farmers. I will not be coming to the library again if they continue with their total disrespect, do they follow old white ladies around I think not. I have tried to call today but no answer, we are coming in and if it happens again there will be a lot of loud words from me. E Heyrick for Jason

Staff are very helpful and if you feel like coffee there's a cafe right there in the library. Very convenient
Staff are awesome, plentiful options and check out simple process.nHonestly could stay there all day and not notice time flying by
Free WiFi, lots of space on both floors. There is a cafe by the entrance.nnThere is a car park but pay by hour. $2 per hour.
