Husband and I had such a great week long stay here. Sandy and Glen were great hosts sharing with us their personal recommendations and answering all our questions regarding NZ. Our room had a wonderful view of Little Manly Beach. The hotel is conveniently located for a quick walk to town for great meals and/or a relaxing swim at Big Manly Beach.nOur room was equipped for preparing simple meals. We could enjoy dining in our room at the large table or on the verandah outside our room overlooking the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Sandy and Glen do offer an extra breakfast option. Glen is mighty talented with those poached eggs. Enjoy.
We stayed 7 nights at Whangaparaoa Lodge recently and so enjoyed our stay. The location is 2 minute walk across the street from Little Manly beach, and only 20 minutes walk from our preferred beach at Big Manly Beach. Sandy & Glen were so helpful with suggestions and making sure we enjoyed our stay. We loved watching the sunsets from the patio and having our breakfast on the patio in the morning. Great room, extremely clean. An easy 15 minute walk upto the town center where you can find an assortment of restaurants to meet your tastes.
Wonderful place to stay on the peninsula. Yes there is a busy road nearby but the rooms are great and the service from the hosts more than makes up for this
Arrived for my birthday celebrations to NZ with a group of 20 pax. Sandy and Glen are first class hosts and everything was so smooth and nothing too much trouble. Rooms are spacious, clean, with everything you need for a short stay. Location is perfect for walking along the beach road to the little village where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bakery and other shops to browse. Highly recommend and huge thanks to our hosts.
A lovely room that a big city hotel the one we stayed at anyway! would be jealous of and a warm and generous getting from the hosts. A shame that our plans allowed only one night. Highly recommended.
