Arrived for my birthday celebrations to NZ with a group of 20 pax. Sandy and Glen are first class hosts and everything was so smooth and nothing too much trouble. Rooms are spacious, clean, with everything you need for a short stay. Location is perfect for walking along the beach road to the little village where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bakery and other shops to browse. Highly recommend and huge thanks to our hosts.
A lovely room that a big city hotel the one we stayed at anyway! would be jealous of and a warm and generous getting from the hosts. A shame that our plans allowed only one night. Highly recommended.
I originally booked a 2 night stay at the Whangaparaoa Lodge but extended it to 8 nights as it's such a great place to stay relaxing, comfortable and right across the road from Little Manly Beach. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly all this at competitive room rates. I really couldn't fault this place and i am looking forward to staying again in the near future.
When we needed to step out of our house for a few nights, Whangaparaoa Lodge was the local choice that far exceeded our expectations.nnOur room was impressively large, clean, comfortable and it had a kitchenette, which came in very handy and added a touch of convenience to our stay.nnIn the morning, I enjoyed the lovely deck. Sitting there, watching the sea, was incredibly soothing. And to add to it all, the hosts are lovely, kind, welcoming people.
What a find! The location is idyllic right by my favorite beach on the Hibiscus Coast, Little Manly Beach. The rooms were spotlessly clean and have a host of amenities to make our stay just perfect. A friendly team will greet you and look after you throughout your stay, this place is a little gem!!
