Absolutely loved my stay in October last year! The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and had great facilities. Best of all, the beach is just across the road — perfect for catching a breathtaking sunrise. I shared some photos taken with my iPhone no filters at all! to show just how amazing the view is. Highly recommended!
A home away from home … Beautiful appointed rooms at an affordable rate with everything you need for your stay including a fantastic range of upgrades. Great to have EV charging on site. Thank you for the incredible service Sandy & Glenn
I don't often leave reviews anymore, except in extreme cases. I'm happy to say that our stay at Whangaparaoa Lodge Motel was extremely pleasant. The location is so close to the ocean, and it was conveniently close to family we were visiting. From the magazines in the drawers to the artwork on the walls, to the amenities in the bath, everything was so well thought out. The staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly.
We stayed 7 nights at Whangaparaoa Lodge recently and so enjoyed our stay. The location is 2 minute walk across the street from Little Manly beach, and only 20 minutes walk from our preferred beach at Big Manly Beach. Sandy & Glen were so helpful with suggestions and making sure we enjoyed our stay. We loved watching the sunsets from the patio and having our breakfast on the patio in the morning. Great room, extremely clean. An easy 15 minute walk upto the town center where you can find an assortment of restaurants to meet your tastes.
Husband and I had such a great week long stay here. Sandy and Glen were great hosts sharing with us their personal recommendations and answering all our questions regarding NZ. Our room had a wonderful view of Little Manly Beach. The hotel is conveniently located for a quick walk to town for great meals and/or a relaxing swim at Big Manly Beach.nOur room was equipped for preparing simple meals. We could enjoy dining in our room at the large table or on the verandah outside our room overlooking the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Sandy and Glen do offer an extra breakfast option. Glen is mighty talented with those poached eggs. Enjoy.
